Payment Methods

Stripe billing, invoices, and subscription management

Payment Methods

Sift uses Stripe for all subscription billing and one-time charges.

Accepted Payment Methods

Through Stripe's hosted checkout, you can pay with:

  • Credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Debit card — UK debit cards supported
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay — where your browser supports it

You do not need a Stripe account. Stripe handles payment directly — Sift never stores your card details.

Security

All payments are processed via Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. Sift stores only your Stripe customer ID, not any card information.

How Subscriptions Work

  1. When you upgrade your plan, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout
  2. Enter your card details — Stripe creates a recurring subscription
  3. You are charged monthly or yearly depending on your selection
  4. Payments are processed automatically on your billing date

Subscription Management

Viewing your subscription

Go to Billing in the sidebar to see your current plan, billing period, next payment date, and payment history.

Cancelling

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period
  4. After the period ends, agent conversations are suspended

Note

There is no free tier after cancellation. To re-activate, you will need to choose a plan on the Billing page.

Invoices

Stripe sends automated email receipts for every payment. You can also download invoices from Billing > Payment History in the Sift dashboard.

Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends. Contact support for exceptional circumstances.
