How to upgrade or downgrade your Sift subscription

Upgrading Your Plan

You can change your plan at any time from the Billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

How to Upgrade

Click the Billing link in the dashboard sidebar.

You'll see Starter, Growth, and Scale with their features and pricing. Click Upgrade on the plan you want.

Choose between:

  • Monthly billing
  • Annual billing — 2 months free (saves £298/yr on Starter, £598/yr on Growth, £1,098/yr on Scale)

You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. Enter your credit or debit card details. After payment, you're redirected back to Sift.

Your new plan is active immediately. Features like custom email domain, analytics, CRM webhooks, and API access (depending on plan) are unlocked right away.

Downgrading

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Change Plan and select a lower tier
  3. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period

When you downgrade, features specific to your current plan become unavailable at the end of the billing period. Export any data that requires higher-plan features (such as lead export or API credentials) before the downgrade takes effect.

What Happens to Your Data

  • Upgrading: All existing data is preserved. New features unlock immediately.
  • Downgrading: Your data stays intact, but plan-gated features are deactivated. For example, custom email domain is suspended (not deleted) if you downgrade from Growth to Starter.

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Access continues until the end of the current billing period

After the billing period ends, agent conversations are suspended. There is no free tier — to re-activate, choose a plan on the Billing page.
