Deleting Your Account
Permanently delete your Sift account and all associated data
Deleting Your Account
Account deletion permanently removes your organization and all associated data from Sift. This action cannot be undone.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following is removed in order:
- Messages — all conversation transcripts
- Conversations — conversation metadata
- Leads — all lead records
- Properties — all property listings
- Appointments — all calendar bookings
- Availability slots — weekly schedule
- Blocked dates — calendar blocks
- Agent config — name, personality, greetings, custom prompts
- API keys — all
sk_live_*API keys are revoked and deleted - Organization — the organization record itself
- Auth account — your Supabase authentication account (email, sessions, tokens)
This is a complete, irreversible deletion. All data is permanently removed from the database. There is no recovery option, grace period, or backup.
How to Delete
Click Settings in the sidebar.
At the bottom of the Settings page, find the red Danger Zone section.
Click the Delete Account button.
A confirmation modal appears. Type DELETE (in caps) in the text field and click confirm.
Your organization and all data are deleted. Your browser session is cleared and you're redirected to the auth page.
Before You Delete
Consider these steps before deleting:
- Export your leads — download a CSV from the Leads page
- Export appointments — download ICS files from the Calendar
- Cancel your subscription — if you have a paid plan, cancel it first from the Billing page to stop future charges via Stripe
- Release your SMS number — if you have an SMS channel provisioned, release the number from Settings → Channels first
After Deletion
- You can no longer sign in with your email
- The web widget stops working immediately (if deployed)
- SMS and email channels stop processing messages immediately
- Your Stripe subscription is cancelled automatically as part of deletion
Re-creating an Account
After deletion, you can sign up again with the same email address. You'll start fresh with a new organization — no previous data is recovered.
