Sign up, sign in, and manage your Sift account
Creating Your Account
Sift uses email-based authentication powered by Supabase Auth. No social logins or SSO — just email and password.
Sign Up
Visit sift.software/auth. You'll see a sign-in form with a toggle to switch to sign-up mode.
- Email — your work email address
- Password — minimum 6 characters
Click Sign Up to create your account.
Check your inbox for a verification email from Sift. Click the confirmation link to activate your account.
Note
After verification, you'll be redirected to the onboarding wizard to set up your organization.
Sign In
- Go to sift.software/auth
- Enter your email and password
- Click Sign In
You'll be redirected to the dashboard. If you were previously signed in, the auth page automatically redirects you — you'll see a brief loading screen with the Sift logo while it checks your session.
Reset Your Password
On the sign-in page, click the Forgot password? link below the password field.
Type the email address associated with your account and click Send Reset Link.
You'll receive an email with a password reset link. Click it to open the reset page at sift.software/reset-password.
Enter your new password. The page includes a strength meter to help you pick a strong one. Click Update Password to save.
You'll be redirected to the dashboard automatically.
Account Security
- Passwords are hashed and stored securely by Supabase Auth
- Sessions persist in your browser's local storage
- Signing out clears your session data
- You can delete your entire account from Settings → Danger Zone (see Deleting Your Account)
