Blocked Dates

Block specific dates from your availability

Blocked Dates

Blocked dates override your weekly availability template. Use them for holidays, vacations, team off-days, or any date when viewings aren't possible.

Adding a Blocked Date

Click Calendar in the sidebar.

Click the Block Date button or click on a date in the calendar.

Pick the date you want to block.

You can add a note explaining why the date is blocked (e.g., "National Day Holiday", "Team retreat").

The blocked date appears as a red overlay on the calendar grid. The agent will not suggest any time slots on this date.

Visual Indicator

Blocked dates show a red overlay on the calendar grid. If a day has both availability stripes and a blocked-date overlay, the blocked status takes priority — no slots are offered for that day.

Note

If you toggle availability for a day that has blocked dates, you'll see a toast warning reminding you about the existing blocks.

How the Agent Handles Blocked Dates

When calculating available slots, the agent:

  1. Starts with your weekly template
  2. Removes any blocked dates
  3. Removes any existing appointments
  4. Offers the remaining slots to leads

A blocked date completely removes that day from the available options, regardless of what your weekly template says.

Removing a Blocked Date

  1. Click the blocked date on the calendar
  2. Click Remove Block or Unblock
  3. The date returns to its normal template-based availability
